Join a Committee

Committees, chaired by members of the Peace Center Board, are a way for members to have their say in the how the Peace Center operates.

Fundraising and Membership Committee:
Responsible for helping to plan fundraising events, including the annual dinner, as well as brainstorming new sources of funding. Also charged with recruiting new members, retaining existing members, and watching out for the needs and concerns of Peace Center members.

Technology Committee
A newly-formed committee, seeking members interested in the technology the Peace Center needs for day-to-day operation, from phones to computers to our website.

Coordinating Board Search Committee:
This committee is inactive most of the year, but is activated annually to search for new Board members.

Finance Committee:
Oversees finances and presents reports to the Board. This committee is open to Board members only.

Personnel Committee:
Oversees personnel matters and reports to the Board. This committee is also open to Board members only.
