In 2007 & 2008, Democrats rode a wave of antiwar energy to regain control of both houses of Congress and Donald Rumsfeld was forced to resign! Let’s be clear: the Democrats did not create this sea change out of thin air. It is rooted in the fact that our movement has created an antiwar majority in this country…and it’s a victory of which we should all be proud.

Let’s also be clear: our work is far from over. Make it known that there is a mandate for peace so powerful no politician can ignore it.
