The Fifth Annual World On Your Plate Food Forum

The Fifth Annual World On Your Plate (WOYP) Food Forum will be held Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11 at Daemen College.

This year’s partnership with Good People Gather, of Erie, Pennsylvania, promises to expand our efforts into a regional event. This is a community driven initiative that includes Daemen College’s Center for Sustainable Communities & Civic Engagement, Indigenous Women’s Initiatives, Massachusetts Avenue Project, NOFA, Riverside Salem UCC and the WNY Peace Center.

The forum will include a presentation from Derrick Jensen, a critically acclaimed author, up to 30 workshops, an organic lunch, numerous vendors and the Second Annual Youth Conference, "Eat Up." People attend this event to learn, network and find places to buy the things they need to live in line with their values.

This year’s WOYP Food Forum anticipates over 400 participants from across Western New York. This event offers local businesses and organizations a great opportunity to directly reach a base of citizens who are actively seeking healthy, local services.
