Coexisting with Coyotes – A Coyote Educational Event featuring Lesley Sampson

March 22, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Free
The Citizen Coalition for Wildlife and Environment and Animal Advocates of WNY are very pleased and honored to announce a coyote educational event featuring Lesley Sampson from Coyote Watch Canada on March 22, 6pm-8pm, on Grand Island at the Huth Road Elementary School (1773 Huth Road, Grand Island, NY 14072). The event is free, doors open at 6pm and presentation will start at 7pm.
Lesley Sampson, Wildlife Conflict Specialist and co-founder of Coyote Watch Canada, will be presenting on coyote ecology, behavior and techniques to reduce human-coyote conflicts. Come listen to an expert who has years of research and field experience and learn how communities can promote and practice peaceful coexistence with the coyotes that share our natural environment and are essential to the ecosystem.
Also in conjunction with the event, we are looking for artwork featuring coyotes. All types of media will be displayed at the event to show the beauty of coyotes. The call for artwork is open to everyone – not just professional artists – so we encourage you to have fun in creating your coyote artwork!  We have extended the deadline to March 17. Submit entries or arrange for pickup by March 10: PO Box 1212, Grand Island, NY 14072 or email: ccweinfo@gmail.com
