On Facebook Live – see invite below. This event is an annual rebuttal to the mayor’s State of the City address. It flips the script and instead of centering the mayor and his (faux) accomplishments, it centers the most directly impacted, organizers, and activists who are working on the intersectional policy platform that you can read more about at the coalition’s website here: OUR CITY Builds (ourcitybuffalo.org). This event heavily includes our climate and how it intersects with Indigenous sovereignty, a key perspective that will be featured in the State of OUR CITY.
