Igniting Hope Conference

Day 1: In person Walk of Healing from the African American Heritage Corridor to the Freedom Wall at E. Ferry & Michigan. This 2 mile walk will include music, dance and activities. This is a family event. There will be no Zoom for this part of the conference. It is in person only and begins at 4pm with parking at Buffalo Academy of Visual & Performing Arts. Attendees will be bussed to the walking start point. Walk begins at 5:15.

Day 2: Virtual Igniting Hope Conference
This year’s conference highlights speakers Thomas A. LeVeist PhD., Heidi L. Gartland & Donald E. Grant PhD. who will frame past, present and future of historical trauma and the path forward for all people, organizations and businesses. Day 2 is only available on Zoom. There is no in person component.
