Each year the UN-sponsored International Day of Peace is observed around the world on September, 21. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. Come to Unity Church, 1243 Delaware Ave (kitty-corner to WNYPC/NRC) for a peace walk, food and music at this inspiring event. Sponsored by Unity Church and the WNY Peace Center.
The theme for 2017 is “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All.”
