The WNY Peace Center, with the collaboration of many groups and organizations, did a fantastic job! The actions in front of First Niagara Center on Monday were a fabulous success. We celebrated peace, unity, and solidarity with a diverse crowd of about 1,000. There was music, laughter, and good vibes all around.
A number of sources have reported that approximately 2-6 people were arrested.
The event was peaceful because we brought peace with us. Although counter-supporters tried to create conflict, they couldn’t get the response they wanted.
