Human Rights & Peace Education

August is International Peace Month

August is International Peace Month and a time to reflect on the First World War. […] it’s increasingly important that we educate new generations about the horrors of that conflict and learn whatever lessons we can, so we may not repeat the mistakes that led to the Great War.

Women’s March Food Drive

The #WNYPC has decided to proceed with the #WomensMarch after today’s tragedy, as it is more important than ever to come together in solidarity and healing as a community.

We ask that you please consider bringing nonperishable food items to the Women’s March WNY at Broderick Park (post-marching portion) between 1 and 3 PM. These items will be provided to the members of our community who are not only personally affected by this great loss, but are also without a major grocery shopping option for an indeterminate amount of time.

We are also looking for volunteers to help lift and a truck to transport these goods.

Please contact (by phone or text):

We appreciate your support and consideration. With peace, solidarity, and love.
