Hi, All! 716-332-3904; 716-931-3520 11/3/17
The WNY Peace Center’s 50th Annual Dinner with Amy Goodman – on double-checking etc – is SOLD OUT!! So sorry to those of you who are disappointed!! We have however gotten special dispensation from the wonderful staff at the Buffalo-Niagara Convention Center to allow people to come to hear Amy Goodman speak at this truly a historic event. So IF YOU HAVEN’T already purchased a ticket – i.e., have a reservation at the door – you can come at 7pm (or shortly before) for admittance when Amy speaks for a donation of $20.
The awards to Ken Sherman & Riverside Salem UCC/DC – and a surprise media person – will also be given after Ms Goodman’s talk, “21 Years Covering the Movements Changing America.” Ismail & Co. will also be playing for the after-celebration (right there of course with our friends at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center). There’s free parking for all at the Fernbach Ramp.
We’ll also have special DVDs of our dear Pete Seeger’s performance and sharing at our 2013 Annual Dinner at what was his last fully public performance – we’ll be giving them ***as a thank-you for memberships!!*** (sorry that phrase got left out of our last email!!)
And again, physical tickets are not being distributed.
