You are cordially invited to accompany the 15th Annual Walk of Abraham, a community event celebrating our shared values. Registration is free but required for the Walk and the dinner program at:  wny@mpac.org

Brief Event Details:

• Date: Thursday, September 19, 2024
• Walk Time: The long walk (4 miles) starts at 3:30 PM at North Presbyterian Church (300 N. Forest Rd.)

The short walk (1 mile) starts at 5:00PM at Heim Middle School (175 Heim Rd.)
The endpoint of the Walk is the Islamic Center, Amherst (745 Heim Rd.)

• Program: The program starts at 5:30 PM at the Islamic Center, Amherst (745 Heim Rd.)
• Public Forum: “Threats to Democracy & Religious Freedom”  Keynote Speaker
  • Rachel Laser, President & CEO of Americans United for Separation of Church and State
• Dinner to follow

A minimum of $5 donation is suggested for the shared meal in advance or at the door (Checks payable to MPAC Foundation and mail to 6343 Transit Rd. Depew, NY 14043).

The evening proceeds to benefit the Second Annual Shower sponsored by Harvest House Buffalo. Baby items like diapers, wipes, lotions, towels, bottles, and socks will be graciously accepted at the event.
