The mission of the Economic Justice Taskforce – one of the nine taskforce groups of the Western New York Peace Center – is to confront directly the economic factors preventing people from living complete and holistic lives, and to work towards justice to honor all of humanity.

Our activities focus on education and advocacy.

In 2022, we will:
(1) support local labor activism
(2) join the local and national efforts of the Poor People’s Campaign
and (3) host weekly CR (consciousness raising) groups about economic justice – and the intersections of poverty, militarism, mass incarceration, gender, race and ecological devastation.
