Film Premiere: Food that Grows on Water

March 15, 2022 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm EDT

Although Enbridge completed construction on the Line 3 tar sands pipeline, the work of water protectors is not over.

Please join us Tuesday March 15th at 7pm CST for the national online premier of Food that grows on Water, a short documentary illustrating how Enbridge’s pipelines will affect manoomin and Ojibwe livelihood.

Water protectors and many allies are now working to stop Enbridge Line 5 in Wisconsin and Michigan, another project with violations to treaties, manoomin and water, habitable climate and endangered species. On Tuesday we will gather to watch the premier, hear from the director and frontline speakers, and take online actions together.

Whether or not you can join us for the screening, you can take action to stop Enbridge’s Line 5 in Wisconsin and Michigan by March 18th.

Thanks for all you do.

PS: Sharing our stories is an important part of our work. If you were involved in the struggle against the Line 3 tar sands pipeline in any way, our friends at the Stop Line 3 Storytelling Anthology want to hear from you. There is still time for you to share your own words and art! Please join this creative communal space to honor the everyday experiences of all who resisted Line 3, in so many beautiful ways.
