Join the WNYPC at the Buffalo Juneteenth Festival!
Buffalo’s Juneteenth Festival is back in the park! After 2 years online, we are coming together under the summer sun to enjoy each other’s love, strength, and solidarity. Enjoy the parade, music, dancing, food, and more at MLK Park Saturday and Sunday, June 18th – 19th. Be sure to stop by the WNY Peace Center’s table to say hi!

Building Bridges Community Clean-Up & Food Distribution

Join us for a day of of outreach, community cleanup, and solidarity at the Frederick Douglass Community Center (234 Jefferson Ave., in the Jefferson/Clinton neighborhood) on Thursday, May 26 from noon to 3 PM!
The day will include community clean-up efforts, a needs assessment survey conducted door-to-door, and distribution of hot meals, groceries, home supplies, resources, and more – plus live music by DJ Milk Buffalo!
This event is organized by a coalition of local frontline community groups, including PUSH Buffalo, Conect, Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority, US Foods, Native American Community Services of Erie and Niagara Counties Inc. (NACS), WNY Peace Center, The Buffalo Urban League, and Erie County Restorative Justice Coalition – under the banner of ANCHOR (Addressing the Needs for Community Health, Opportunity and Resiliency).
