Themes have been created to honor Black History Month, and to spread awareness about specific issues every year as well. The 2022 theme surrounds health and wellness in African American communities. Health and wellness is particularly timely, as we still find ourselves in the midst of a worldwide pandemic.
Welcoming youths from ages 8-14 years old to learn about social justice and leadership skills to create positive change in themselves, their communities, and the world!
- Learn about Nobel Peace Laureates
- Learn, lead, and share inspiration and talents
- Fulfill community service through the group’s Service Learning Project
- Be part of a diverse group learning to be the change we need in the world
- …and of course, have fun!
Weekly on Thursdays 3-5 PM from March 3rd through May 19th. In-person with masks. Did we mention it’s free?? (Though donations are welcome!)

The People’s Campaign for Parole Justice is hosting Parole Justice Is Racial Justice Advocacy Day centering Black History. Gather via Zoom for rallies, legislative meetings, and a press conference to pass Elder Parole (S15A/A8855) and Fair & Timely Parole (S7514/A4231A) in 2022.
