WNY Peace Center is honoring and partnering with Stitch Buffalo for this year’s Women’s March 2022. May is International Victorious Women’s Month, along with the WNY Women’s March. It is the perfect time to shed light on the victorious women of Stitch Buffalo, and all the good they do for their local and worldwide communities.
Katrina vanden Heuvel, publisher and editorial director of The Nation magazine, will be the keynote speaker and will address the Russia/Ukraine war and US/NATO’s conflict with Russia and assess the first year of Biden’s presidency.
Kevin Martin, president of National Peace Action, will address key peace movement issues, including the Ukraine and Yemen wars, Afghanistan, tension with China, and the rapidly escalating Pentagon budget.
