They are sponsoring the “Way Forward in Haiti” Meeting to ask Assistant Secretary Nichols to take specific steps to change U.S. policy toward Haiti: to support civil society plans for a legitimate transitional government, end immunity, channel development aid through Haitian organizations and priorities, and protect Haitian migrants. English-Creole translation will be available.
Gamers For Peace is one year old as an initiative of VFP’s Truth-In-Recruitment working group. Having started as a Discord chat server, 2021 saw GFP organized into a content creating collective of Gamers, Veterans, and Accomplices.
They have developed their new programming for Season Two, which will last for three months.
Military Ad Slam is returning this season, hosted by Plantifa who explores the reality behind the slick recruiting commercials. Two new scripted programs have begun also: Mentorship Monday and Right Seat Ride, an intergenerational conversation between organizers.
